01/11/2007: "A New Year"
That was a nice long break from my self-imposed responsibilities. But now, it's back to the fun.
My wife and I have recently been talking about my writing style online, not only here, but other places. Our conversations have had nothing to do with the fact that I sometimes type words I really can't pronounce or even say with a straight face, but rather the harshness that I can display. It doesn't surprise her too much that I can be so harsh, but she said it really doesn't show my "snuggliness". (FireFox doesn't think that's a word?!
)
Since my raison d'etre with this site is my letter rebuttals, which are inherently somewhat mean, I don't have much of a problem with coming off that way here, but it does bother me that some might see me as bitter when it comes to other sites. Since it is very possible that my work here is affecting my words in other places, I will endeavor to make my blog a kindler, gentler blog. I'd like everyone to look upon my writings as a thousand points of lights. Read my lips, "No nude taxidermists!" I'll just try to be funnier when pointing out how wrong-headed people can be.
Have a great year!
